This grand home is located on 33 acres of farmland that has been in the same family for more than 100 years. The owners wanted help designing a home that would be comfortable for them, for their visiting family and friends, and with space to run their business from. 

The resulting design blends traditional elements of Eastern Shore architecture with modern touches to create a home that is both casual and comfortable to live in on a daily basis, but also formal enough for elegant evening parties.

Oversized windows face the Wye River, and provide wonderful views from every room in the home.  On the upper level is a large Master Suite with an octagonal sitting room with mahogany ceilings.  Also on the upper level is a large, separate guest suite.   Above the garage is a second guest suite with living area, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette.  The main level has a two story great room facing the water, a large kitchen with an octagonal breakfast area,  pantry, mudroom and laundry, and three bedroom/office spaces.  On the basement level is a party/great room with full bar that opens to the outdoor kitchen and pool area, and a nine-seat, large screen media room.
