Every guy needs a Car Barn, and this gentleman is no exception!  Because the location of the barn would be in a prominent spot on the property, and visible from the St. Michaels Road, the design had to not only be attractive, but also fit the style of the main residence and other outbuildings, and fit the rural feel of Talbot County. 

The 2-1/2-car barn provides plenty of room for cars, and a workshop area to work on them.  Inside, the clerestory windows flood the barn with natural light.  Decorative cross beams in the clerestory area give a feel of age and substance, while T&G cedar wall finishes add warmth to the workspace.  The outside shape was derived from several barn styles that are prominent in the area, and the barn feels as though it has been there for years.  The sidings and finishes complement the main residence and other outbuildings.
